The wind farms currently in operation generate approximately 2300 MW. But this amount will increase as the number of wind farms grows.

In the United States the border cities of Chicago and Detroit are also taking an interest in what is happening in Canada. They are giving a lot more thought to the use of renewable energies, including the wind, to power the large number of factories in their area.
