As the fuel price continue to soar and more and more news coverage on global warming, one must start to wonder if the world is coming to an end. It is in fact coming to an end if we do not take the necessary measures to combat against the rising world temperature, and as much as 6 billions tree are needed to help the situation!

That is a lot of tree that we may or may not be able to plant in time, this mammoth effort are certainly out of our hands. But, that does not means that you can not do your part in terms of helping the planet, one way to do so is to stop unnecessary wastage as well as tapping on alternative energies that can eliminate harmful byproducts that can hurt the atmosphere even more.

This article will talk about the various form of alternatives energy that you too can have it in your own backyard and do your part as a citizen of earth.

Sun Energy – Also known as solar energy, it is energy directly generated by the sun by using a panel or device that will help turn sun light into manageable and usable energy sources. Although it is expensive to install a solar panel right in your own home, it should eventually be able to pay itself off in the long run as you become less dependent on the utility companies, even better is that you can sell back some of the energies generated by that to the company to help cover your costs!

Wind – Using wind energy is not new, by using windmill, wind turbines and devices that turns these into renewable energy, you are no doubt helping the earth and yourself. There are instances where you do not need a large piece of land to do so, smaller scale can work just fine, just be sure that you’re combining it with solar energy as well to provide you with enough energy during times where you do not get enough sun.
