Having a Lighter Impact on the World Does Not a Cry Baby Liberal Make
This isn’t a lecture on what you must do in order to sleep at night. I’ve been listening to television while I work lately and I’ve realized nearly everything I do has some greater implication to someone or something in the world. My own personal epiphany, my own “butterfly effect”. I stopped watching the nightly news because it’s so negative, rarely are positive stories released and I figured life is tough enough that I don’t need to fill my mind with the world’s issues. With this great “green” movement, I’ve begun to feel the same. I don’t want to avoid new discoveries. So, I began looking at simple things most all of us can employ to have a smaller footprint and not feel as if we’re altering our lifestyles dramatically.
